I believe that coming to therapy when your life is not proceeding in the way you wish is a courageous and important step in building the life you want. Although it is sometimes difficult or frightening to make that first phone call, it’s a strong sign of your belief in yourself and your desire to live fully and joyfully. I respect the decision to begin therapy and understand that it’s sometimes a hard step that requires great courage. My practice is centered around compassion, personal warmth and care, and a strong conviction that you can overcome the pain and difficulties in your life. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is a critical component of healing and growth, and I will work collaboratively with you, bringing my knowledge and skills to the table while also valuing your expertise about your own life.

My approach to therapy is relational, solution-focused, warm, direct, and intuitive.

I will meet you with respect, empathy, compassion, and a firm belief that however you’re feeling right now, there is a capacity for healing, growth, change, and joy within you. It will be my privilege to help you find it.

Do not disregard your life. It is too precious. This moment, right now, is the only life you will ever have. You cannot store it up to enjoy at the ideal time. – J. P. Phela
