Psychotherapy is an investment in your well-being and happiness. It’s an uncomfortable but natural part of the human condition to experience periods of pain, confusion, and distress. Every human being will endure personal difficulties, and at times we all need support and company to work through them. Choosing to do that is an indicator of your strength. Although the expense of therapy is an important consideration, you are making an investment in both your immediate functioning and your long-term health. Most people find that the skills they learn in therapy continue to be useful throughout their lives.
My fees are $175 for an initial 75-minute session and $150 for subsequent for individual or couples therapy. Regular therapy sessions last 45 – 50 minutes. We will structure our time together to fit your concerns and your budget. If you are facing financial hardship, please let me know.
Payment is expected at the end of each session. I accept cash, personal checks, Mastercard, and Visa. If you must cancel your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours before your scheduled time. Since I save your appointment hour for you and no one else, you will need to pay for appointments missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice.
Because a good therapist / client match is essential to the healing process, I offer a complimentary fifteen-minute phone consultation before we meet. This gives us a chance to become familiar with one another and to begin to assess whether my practice is appropriate for your needs. I am happy to facilitate other referrals as necessary. Your comfort is important to me.
